Some of you may have noticed I have place a widget with the details of our
'Mumble Chat Server' on the forums. This can be used by anyone for general
chatting or pcw's there are different areas ie 'Lobby' for everyones use & 'Members'
section which can only be accessed by clan members. (ps this offers superb voice
quality use it to talk to family & friends far far better than phone) If there's enough
use I can set it so you can make ur own private channels either permanent or
temporary!

Mumble offers Voice Chat capability similar to Teamspeak or Ventrilo but better in
several ways, here's the download link :

To connect to the Mumble Voice Server use the details below :



Once connected as shown below you can then join any channel by drag & drop :



Use Push-To-Talk rather than Voice Activation or Set up voice activation CAREFULLY,
every sniff, whisper and weird noise will be heard (and the missus telling u to get OFF
that computer hehe).

If you are having problems with CS1.6 crashing the likely cause is your graphic card,
disabling the overlay as below should cure it.

'go to configure - settings - overlay, under options untick enable overlay'

Any probs just pm me or mail. Some settings have been disabled by the hosting
company ie I'm unable to password any channels just restrict access but should
not cause any probs. If u have free internet access on ur phone there are apps
to allow you to use it anywhere. Also if someone wants full admin pm me.

in settings push to talk...what excactly do you push to talk ... ????

You just choose a 'key' to press to talk instead of vox ( voice activated )

To change - Start Mumble - Join Server ( Easier to check its working )

Then either method below :

1. Configure - Settings - Audio Inputs ( side menu ) - Change Pull/Down Menu in Tranmit to ' Push To Talk '
Shortcuts ( side menu ) - Click on space below shortcut - Click on any key u wish to use.

2. Configure - Audio Wizard - Go 4 pages along to Voice Activity Detection page, click on 'Push To Talk' and
select the key you wish to use.
